Meet Hannah...

Hello my name is Hannah, I am the owner & main groomer at fresh paws Middlewich. I have 12 years experience working with many breeds of dogs. During this time I have worked for Cheshire constabulary caring for & grooming Cheshire police dogs. I have also worked at Reaseheath college as a canine instructor and I have also run my own dog training classes. I have a full city & guilds level 3 grooming qualification as well as many other canine studies qualifications including higher national diploma in animal behavior and welfare at Chester university.

Our Services

We understand that your dogs are important members of your family. We make their grooming experience as stress free as possible. We use calming diffusers, have in depth knowledge of canine behaviour and welfare and we give your dog lots of praise and cuddles.

We offer these four packages to suit your furry friends grooming needs:

Puppy Groom

This groom package is designed to give your puppy a positive introduction to being groomed from a young age to create a dog who loves to be groomed rather than finding it stressful. We will give your puppy lots of cuddles, treats, praise and we play with them during the groom. The groom includes:
  • Brush through
  • Bath using puppy shampoo
  • Gentle dry
  • Face a paw trim (if required)
  • Fragrance spray to finish
  • We get your puppy used to having their paws held and ears examined so we can build up to trimming their nails and cleaning their ears.

Bath and Tidy

This groom is great for dogs between full grooms to smarten and freshen them up or for dogs who don’t need full grooms.

The groom includes:

  • Paw tidy
  • Ear clean
  • Hygiene trim
  • Nail trim (if required)
  • De shed brush out
  • Bath using suitable shampoos
  • Blow dry
  • Tidy up of face (if required)
  • Fragrance to finish

From £25

Full Groom

This groom includes everything that’s included in a bath and tidy groom as well as styling your dog to your personal requirements using professional clipping and scissoring techniques.

From £45

Hand Stripping

This groom includes all that’s included in a full groom except that we will use hand stripping technique to remove the dead hair rather than using clippers to trim it. This is a lengthy process so we will give your dog breaks during its groom.

*Our prices are dependent on the size of your dog, the condition of your dog’s coat and your dog’s temperament. Surcharges may be applied where necessary if de matting is required, if ticks are found for their removal, or if fleas are found (this is to cover the cost of a salon deep clean and salon pesticide treatment to avoid the spread of fleas to other dogs. In extreme cases of dogs expressing aggressive behaviour during a groom, the groom will have to come to an end, and you will be contacted to collect your dog. All dogs must be up to date with all vaccinations and flea and worm treatments.
